This board was designed here in Port Townsend specifically with long distance paddling in mind, and has proven to be very effective in its role.

George helped build Spirit in 1992 for Community Mental Health. Spirit was used for summer expeditions for 15 years. CMH eventually passed the dories on CWB then donated to Tacoma Boatbuilders.
